Harlots, Hysteria and Happy Endings:
A Sexual History of America
Inspired by Howard Zinn’s “A People’s History of the United States”, Harlots, Hysteria and Happy Endings seeks to reexamine the oft overlooked sexual controversies and revolutions that have transpired throughout the course of history of the United States.
In this workshop, the audience is expected to play an active role through room-wide activities, small group discussion, video’s, and even participatory manipulation of historic vibrators. The course seeks to lead one through the events that shaped our current day American sexual mores and values.
